New PhD student: Diana Olejnik

We are happy to introduce a new Ph.D. student. Diana Olejnik within the project: “Bio-inspired control and design of flapping wing MAVs”.

Diana graduated from the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland with an M.Sc. degree in Control Engineering & Robotics. Diana will be responsible for developing a highly maneuverable flapping-wing MAV with bio-inspired wing-based control actuation and strong gust rejecting capabilities. Her background in mechanical design and robot control will be a benefit for the project of DelFly MAV. Diana’s promotor will be Prof.dr.ir. M. Mulder and daily supervisor will be Dr. G.C.H.E. de Croon.
